MEET OUR TEAM
"Hello, I'm Varsha Patel, the founder and director of Brightkidz Preschool. My journey into early years began after the birth of my second daughter, when I found it increasingly difficult to balance work and family life. I wanted a career that would allow me to be close to my children while also doing something meaningful, something that felt nurturing, supportive and aligned with my values as a mother. It was through this experience that my passion for childcare truly began. Having my own children showed me just how important those early years are, and inspired me to create a family like nursery where every child is cared for as if they were our own.
I hold a Level 3 qualification in childcare and have always been passionate about creating a warm, welcoming, and nurturing environment for children and their families, one that truly feels like a home from home. I believe that every child is unique and deserves to be celebrated, supported and encouraged to learn at their own pace through play, discovery and loving guidance. Brightkidz was born out of my vision to offer high quality care with strong family values at its heart. I'm still very much hands on and involved in the daily running of the nursery, making sure that every child who walks through our doors feel safe, loved and inspired to grow.
Working closely with families is incredibly important to me, and I believe that the strongest foundations for learning come from meaningful relationships between children, practitioners and parents. It's a joy and privilege to be part of each child's early journey, and I am so proud of the caring, dedicated team we have here at Brightkidz."
"Hello, I'm Vinita the nursery manager at BrightKidz Preschool. I have worked in the education sector for over 25 years, and my passion lies in supporting childrens development during the most vital and formative years of their lives.
I hold a masters in education (Special Needs) from Brunel University, along with a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, and currently completing a diploma in Neuroscience to further undertand how childrens brains develop and how best to support their emotional and cognitive needs. I have also completed training in Makaton (British Sign Language) to help children with communication difficulties feel included and empowered.
Over the years, I have held a variety of roles from nursery practitioner to room leader, deputy manager and now nursery manager. These experiences have given me a well rounded understanding of what high quality childcare looks like, and how to lead a strong, supportive team that delivers it consistently. I am passionate about creating a warm, inclusive environment where every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to explore their world. I also believe in empowering educators through mentoring and training, so we can continuously grow and maintain the high standards our families deserve. It's a priviledge to lead the amazing team at Brightkidz and support each child's journey with care."
"Hi, I am Katarina, the room leader and In-house trainer at Brightkidz Preschool. My passion for working with young children and supporting their early development inspired me to complete a diploma in childcare. This has given me a deeper understanding of how young minds grow, and how we as educators can guide that growth through thoughtful, engaging, and nurturing experiences.
I'm a strong believer in continuous learning, and I am always exploring new ideas and methods to keep our teaching fresh, inclusive, and meaningul. I have also completed Makaton (British Sign Language) training to better support children with communicational needs, helping ensure that every child feels heard, supported and able to express themselves confidently.
One of my greatest passions is story-telling, I love using stories to spark imagination, build language skills, and help children explore emotions in a gentle, relatable way. Whether it's circle time or one-on-one moments, I strive to make learning joyful, creative and filled with wonder. What I love most about working at BrightKidz is knowing that we are laying the foundations for life-long learning. It's incredibly rewarding watching children grow in confidence, curiosity and independence and I feel proud to play a part in each of their journeys."
